Bridgewater Place in Leeds is the place where ghd now calls home. This cutting-edge company, with their trend-setting “manestays,” recently moved into their long-awaited headquarters located in Leeds.

ghd takes up the first two floors of Bridgewater Place in Leeds City. At first glance, it’s hard to tell whether you’re looking at an architectural headquarters, an ultra-modern catwalk, or a space station. The entire building glows with an eerie but intriguing phosphorescence that provides enough appeal to draw you in. As you enter the building, you pass through a hallway of pure, ethereal white. With light all around you–including the floor you walk upon–you are ushered into the sanctuary of ghd’s hair care heaven.

Inside, the interior designers worked hard to match the feeling of the internal space with the product that ghd has worked for seven years to perfect. It was important that it be a multi-functional building. For that reason, the office space boasts room for seminars, conferences, and marketing shows. In the main area, there is seating for nearly 100 attendees. ghd stylists will not be disappointed with the wide open spaces, ample lighting, and abundance of mirrors that are necessary for doing a great style job. The “Secret Diary Room” is a novel idea that provides clients and visitors with a sanctuary for reflecting upon their experience, writing down their ideas, and storing up their recollections about ghd. Never one to be left behind in the world of fashion, ghd boasts a research centre called the Trend Library, second to none, exclusively devoted to fashion, trends, styles, and fads.

A world-famous brand like ghd deserves a place worthy of its reputation. ghd has done just that with its new headquarters. Only the best architects, designers, planners, and consultants were hired to do the job for ghd. Now, ghd has 15,600 square feet of space that sets the bar very, very high indeed for other firms who want to match the prestige of ghd’s attainments. But it wasn’t easy. As Beth Watson, the project manager said.

“It has taken two years to plan and develop our new HQ and it is amazing to finally move in.”
